The Napa/Solano/Contra Costa Educational Support Team has provided DAIT and pre-DAIT support to more than seven districts. In addition, our DAIT Leads have had the opportunity to participate in the CDE-sponsored DAIT Pilot program, as well as taking a lead role in the DAIT Regional Capacity Building (RCB) project. These opportunities have provided our DAIT Leads with invaluable experience as they move forward to support districts in developing equitable, effective, and system-wide approaches to improving student performance and closing the achievement and opportunity gaps.

Our SAIT Leads have years of field experience helping schools implement strong core and intervention instructional programs that yield results. Over the past seven years, our team has worked successfully with more than 42 school sites in 23 districts throughout California.

In addition to our SAIT and DAIT leads, our team boasts a cadre of experts in all of the key challenge areas confronting high priority schools and districts. These knowledgeable specialists and experts include:

• English Language Learner Program Specialists
• Special Education Program Specialists
• English/Language Arts Content Specialists/Coaches
• Mathematics Content Specialists/Coaches
• Leadership Coaches

The Napa/Solano/Contra Costa SAIT/DAIT can also provide team members to assist sites and districts with a myriad of other challenges, including:

• creating a vision and mission
• improving culture and climate
• budget and finance
• master scheduling
• student achievement monitoring systems
• facilitating data analysis conversations
• developing and administering common assessments
• developing grade-level pacing guides
• facilitating grade/department level collaboration meetings
